Set your preferred global defaults for how content is displayed across all tabs each time a new file is loaded. Individual tabs can still be adjusted per-tab and per-session from their own settings buttons.
Please note per-tab settings are reset each time a new job is loaded if a global preference has been set on this page. To permanently configure per-tab settings, disable the appropriate global toggle below and use the settings button on each tab. Per-tab settings with no overriding global preference will persist across sessions.

Display Preferences
Choose your colour theme, configure navigation controls, and set default panel visibility across search and report views.
Colour theme
Switch between dark and light mode. Dark is the default ClinXML theme.
Show navigation buttons
Display back and forward navigation buttons in the page header. Useful when your browser's navigation controls are hidden or you prefer in-app navigation.
Hide entity profile card by default
Hides the search/report/folder identity profile card. Useful for when you want to create additional vertical space for your results. Can be toggled per-tab at any time for the current session.
Results Expansion
Controls how collapsible sections and frames behave when a new file is loaded.
Expand search & report rule groups by default
Rule groups and criteria sections in the Search Logic and Reports tabs start expanded when a file is loaded. Can still be collapsed per-session.
Expand browser & diagram frames by default
Single-panel frames (XML Browser, dependency trees, Codes Hierarchy Tree, Terminology Hierarchy Tree, etc.) start expanded when loaded. Can still be collapsed per-session.
Codes
Preferences for how clinical codes are displayed across all code tables.
Per-source code display
When enabled, code tables show one row per source occurrence (including duplicates). When disabled, codes are deduplicated and only unique codes are shown. Applies globally across all code pages.
XML Browser
Default view options for the XML Browser tab under XML Explorer.
Show XML namespaces
Display namespace prefixes (e.g. emis:, xsi:) in the XML source view. When disabled, namespaces are stripped for cleaner reading.
Compact XML indentation
Removes leading whitespace from each line of the XML source view, giving a left-aligned compact layout. Useful on smaller screens.
